In solar-only use, the fan runs when sufficient sunlight is available. With the optional 15V/240V mains power pack connected, it can operate after dark or in low light and switches automatically between solar and mains power.

Does it need wiring?

Solar-only operation does not require a mains connection. Operation after dark or in low light requires the optional mains power pack connected to an indoor 240V outlet.

Can it replace an air conditioner?

No. It is designed to improve ventilation and reduce heat build-up, not actively refrigerate the air.
