Cycle-life test conditions: 0.2C charging and discharging at 25°C and 90% depth of discharge. The 10.24kW peak figure is not a continuous rating; peak duration is not specified in the supplied datasheet. Available AC output also depends on the inverter and complete system design.

LiFePO4 Battery Technology

The PowerBox Pro uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry for stationary energy storage. Dyness specifies at least 6,000 cycles under the test conditions listed above.

Actual service life depends on operating temperature, charge and discharge settings, depth of discharge and installation conditions.

Communication & Inverter Compatibility

The battery provides CAN and RS485 communication for integration with supported inverters. A Wi-Fi module is optional.

Dyness lists SMA, Schneider, Victron Energy, Ingeteam, Solis, GoodWe, Growatt, Solplanet, Luxpower and Deye among the inverter brands in the supplied datasheet.

Compatibility depends on the exact inverter model, firmware, communication cable and configuration. Contact our Perth team to confirm your battery and inverter combination before ordering.

Wall or Floor-Mounted Design

The PowerBox Pro supports wall or floor mounting and measures 555 × 210 × 928mm (W × D × H). Its 210mm enclosure depth helps limit the space required for a suitable installation.

Installation: The battery weighs 99.3kg. A qualified installer must confirm the mounting structure, handling arrangements, clearances and installation location meet the manufacturer's requirements.

Ideal for Solar & Energy Storage

The PowerBox Pro can form part of a compatible energy storage system for:

  • Residential solar battery storage
  • Hybrid solar systems
  • Off-grid power systems
  • Backup power with a suitable inverter and system configuration

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a 48V battery?

It is a 48V-class battery with a nominal voltage of 51.2V. The connected inverter or charger must support the battery's voltage range and communication requirements.

What is the battery's power rating?

The datasheet specifies 5.12kW nominal power and 10.24kW peak power. The peak rating is not a continuous output rating, and the supplied datasheet does not state a peak duration.

Can I add more batteries later?

Dyness specifies up to 50 units in parallel. Expansion must be planned around the inverter, cabling, firmware and complete system design.

Is Wi-Fi included?

The supplied datasheet lists the Wi-Fi module as optional.

Can it be installed outdoors?

The enclosure is rated IP65. Your installer must confirm a suitable location and follow the manufacturer's installation requirements.
